Sunday morning met me with a business meeting and I couldn’t wait to plan more of the year ahead and get to work on a marketing plan and more blog posts.
The sunlight slowly beckoned me and called me further in, like only mornings filled with anticipation can. I couldn’t wait to face the day and get started on work that would unfold over the next six months. There’s something so deeply satisfying about seeing an idea in your mind and seeing it fully realized over a series of weeks and months. Needless to say, I couldn’t wait to get started on some work that I’d been doing over the past few months, ideas finally coming to full fruition.
While walking to the meeting, feeling as elated and bubbly as I was, I still wondered and hoped that all the work I was doing now, would eventually pay off when that great idea takes flight and becomes something so different, yet so much better than I could have ever expected.
Those worries and concerns were soon put to rest when I found a heart standing out on the sidewalk as I made my way to the meeting.
While I know it’s true that it takes a lot more than seeing a heart to ensure that a plan comes together and that an entrepreneur finds their wings, I couldn’t help but see hope in the heart shape that things would turn out better than I ever could have expected.
It was the very momentum I needed to get some great work done that day and commit to doing far more than listening to fears based on lies my mind was trying to get me to believe because it’s safe to say that while we cannot control the outcomes, we can always choose what to do with our fears about it.
I choose to do something amazing.
